Beth Shalom's Upcoming Events: A Calendar of Community and Connection

Beth Shalom Congregation is bustling with activity! We're thrilled to share our upcoming events calendar, filled with opportunities to connect with our vibrant community, deepen your spiritual practice, and celebrate life together. Whether you're a long-time member or considering joining our welcoming family, there's something for everyone.

October 2023:

High Holy Days Observances:

• Rosh Hashanah (September 15th-17th): Join us for our traditional Rosh Hashanah services, filled with prayer, reflection, and the sweet sounds of the shofar. A delicious festive meal will follow the final service on Sunday. RSVP by September 8th.
• Yom Kippur (September 24th-25th): Atone and connect with your spiritual self during our Yom Kippur services. Our Kol Nidre service will begin on the evening of the 24th, followed by a day of fasting, prayer, and reflection. A communal break-fast will conclude the services. RSVP by September 15th.

Beyond the High Holy Days:

• Sukkot Celebration (September 29th): Celebrate the harvest festival of Sukkot with us! We'll build a sukkah together and enjoy a festive meal under the stars. Bring a dish to share! RSVP by September 22nd.
• Community Potluck & Movie Night (October 27th): Enjoy a casual evening with fellow congregants, sharing food and laughter. We'll be showing a family-friendly movie. Please RSVP and indicate what dish you'll bring by October 20th.

November 2023:

• Adult Education Series: Exploring Jewish Mysticism (Every Tuesday in November, 7:00 PM): Dive deeper into your faith with our engaging adult education series exploring the rich tapestry of Jewish mysticism. Led by Rabbi [Rabbi's Name], this series promises to be both thought-provoking and inspiring. No RSVP required.
• Thanksgiving Community Dinner (November 23rd): Celebrate Thanksgiving with the Beth Shalom family! Enjoy a delicious meal and fellowship with friends and neighbors. RSVP by November 16th.

December 2023:

• Chanukah Celebration (December 7th-15th): Light the menorah with us as we celebrate the Festival of Lights! We'll have nightly candle-lighting ceremonies, games, and delicious treats. No RSVP required.
